The March 2015 Inventors Network of the Capital Area meeting is Wednesday March 25, 2015 at the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library in Falls Church, Virginia. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm with networking, pizza, snacks and drinks. Introductions and announcements will be at 6:30 pm.This month’s meeting will include elections of INCA officers. This month’s speaker, Richard C. Levy, is president of Richard C. Levy & Associates, LLC which specializes in collaborative invention and licensing. RCL&A primarily feeds concepts to the toy industry. Richard co-developed Furby (Hasbro), the animatronic creature that has sold more than 70 million units in 57 countries, and 12 languages. His co-invented games include million plus unit seller Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus (Mattel). He has created premiums for P&G (Crest), General Foods (Pebbles) and Ralston-Purina (Cookie Crisp). Among his latest products are: The Waving FlagDirty Words (University Games) and The Original Cat Paw (Wicked Cool Toys). Richard is author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Cashing in On Your Inventions (2nd edition) and co-author of The Toy and Game Inventor’s Handbook (3rd edition) now exclusively sold by Amazon as an e-book. Price: $9.95. Richard was featured in the December 2012 edition of the US Patent & Trademark Office’s Inventors Eye online publication in an article Toying with Success.
