Stephen Key is an award winning inventor, intellectual property strategist, entrepreneur, speaker and best-selling author of books such “One Simple Idea” & “Getting In”. He often speaks to university and governmental audiences about the power of open innovation. Often called the “idea man”, he has been successful at licensing ideas to companies for himself and others. As an inventor, Stephen has brought dozens of products to market, selling at Walmart, 7-Eleven, Disney Stores, etc. Based on his own success, in 1999 he co-founded inventRight LLC – to teach inventors how to harness the power of open innovation and licensing. Stephen is also active in inventor education and support, co-founding the Inventors Groups of America in 2017.
